"I don't normally write or publish individual short stories, I write a whole book of them, all linked around a single theme. One example of this is the book 'Dying in Brighton'; there are five shorts in there, which are all drawn together in the final (sixth) story. In a way, I guess that means these books are short stories and, at the same time, they aren't short stories? The 'Roald Dahl' book is different in the sense that the only common denominator in that book is the year 2021. So if you want more 'traditional' shorts, then that's the book to buy!"
