Romance
Romance
"I write true romances, often kind of gritty, urban. The stories always have sex in them... but it's never overplayed because, for me, the most important aspect of romance is making a connection with a person, with another person's mind or soul. My stories are always about boundaries too, gender, age, appearance, that kind of thing. Love doesn't recognise any boundary and I guess that is what I want to say. Another issue is identity: trying to work out who we really are through the medium of a love story and I think, overall, that works very well. Readers often seem to be quite surprised by the realism of these stories, and I guess that's another big positive".
